No clue ever hands you the full answer directly. Instead, each one eliminates a possibility, and once a row or column has only one blank cell left, that cell must be the answer.
Every puzzle on this page follows the same rule: each item is used once and only once in every category. That's what makes elimination work — if Priya didn't win gold or silver, she must have won bronze, and no one else can have bronze once it's hers.
Read every "not" clue and mark an ✗ immediately — don't wait to see if it seems useful yet. Once a row or column has only one unmarked cell remaining, that cell is a ✓. Then cross that same answer off everywhere else it appears, since nothing can repeat. Repeat until the grid is full. That's the entire method, no matter how large the grid gets.
