How to Solve This Logic Grid Puzzle
Every clue here rules something out rather than telling you the answer directly — that's normal for logic grid puzzles, and it's exactly what the grid is for.
Stack up the negative clues row by row. Clues 1 and 2 both rule out treats for Ben; clues 3, 4, and 6 rule out three different treats for Rosa. Mark an ✗ for each.
Watch for a row down to one option. Rosa has three treats crossed off, leaving only one blank cell — that cell must be a ✓. Once you place it, cross that treat off for everyone else, since no two neighbors brought the same thing.
Let one solved row unlock the next. With Rosa's treat placed, clue 5 (Mia did not bring the cookies) combines with what's already crossed off to leave Mia only one option. Keep repeating: solve a row or column down to its last blank cell, cross that treat off everywhere else, and the rest falls into place.
Every clue here is a "not" statement — nothing is handed to you directly. With four items instead of three, you'll lean on cross-elimination between rows and columns more than in a 3×3 grid, which is exactly what makes this one a step up in difficulty.
