The Puzzle Solver is written, built, and maintained by one person: Mr. Puzzle. There's no editorial team, no outsourced content mill — every word search, sudoku, crossword, nonogram, logic grid, and guide on this site was put together by hand, then checked before it went live.
Mr. Puzzle comes at this from a hands-on angle rather than a theoretical one. Every nonogram is verified to have exactly one solution before it's built. Every logic grid is checked by a brute-force solver. If a puzzle is labeled "Hard," it's because it was tested at that difficulty, not just guessed at.
For the record, his own favourites are word searches, crosswords, and cryptograms. Sudoku and nonograms are the ones he's still working at — so if you're learning those too, you're in good company, and the guides here are written with you in mind.
The Puzzle Solver is a free, growing library of printable puzzles and the guides to go with them, including:
