How to Solve This Logic Grid Puzzle
Every clue here rules something out rather than telling you the answer directly — that's normal for logic grid puzzles, and it's exactly what the grid is for.
Work the column, not just the row. Clues 1, 2, and 3 all rule out the mountains — for Noor, Cole, and Ivy. That leaves only one person who can have the mountains: Jax, even though no clue mentions him directly.
Use a solved column to open the next. With Jax's destination placed, clues 4 and 5 rule out the beach for Cole and Ivy. Only Noor is left standing for the beach column — mark her ✓.
Finish with the last row. Ivy is now down to city or lake; clue 6 rules out the city, so Ivy gets the lake — and Cole is left with the city by elimination.
Notice this puzzle solves column-first rather than row-first — a good reminder that a logic grid's elimination can run in either direction.
