Each number tells you how many squares in a row to fill in that line, in order. A clue of 2 2 means: fill 2 squares, leave at least one blank, then fill 2 more.

How to Solve This Nonogram

Nonograms (also called picross, griddlers, or hanjie) are logic puzzles that hide a picture inside a grid of numbers:

Start with the biggest clues. A row clue like the 16 in this puzzle nearly spans the full width — almost the whole line is filled, so mark those cells first.
Watch for lone single clues. A clue of just 1 sitting between two solved lines can often be pinned down early using the cells already fixed above and below it.
Work the overlap. When a clue number is more than half the line's length, the middle cells must always be filled no matter how the run shifts — mark those immediately.

Walkthrough: Your First Four Moves

Not sure where to begin? Here's exactly how Mr. Puzzle opens this grid. Rows are numbered top to bottom and columns left to right.

Clear the edges. Rows 24 and 25 have no clue, and neither do columns 1 and 25. The working width is columns 2 to 24 (23 squares).
Rows 19 and 20 (9 9). Two 9s plus a gap take 19 of the 23 squares, leaving 4 of wiggle room. Columns 6–10 and 16–20 are always filled.
Row 4 and column 13. Row 4 (16) gives you columns 9 to 17. Column 13 (9) now has row 4 filled, so its run can start no lower than row 4. That means rows 4 through 9 are always filled, and rows 13 and below are blank.
Rows 18 and 21 (7 7). Column 13 is blank in these rows, which splits each row into two 11-square halves. A run of 7 in 11 squares has 4 of wiggle room, so columns 6–8 and 18–20 are filled.

The bottom half (rows 16 to 23) is a matched pair: every row has two equal runs. Whatever you work out on the left side, copy it to the right. The top is where things stop being symmetrical.

Why It's Rated Hard

There's lots of open space and two big round shapes. The upper rows (like 8 1 7 and 3 1 1 4) need careful work around a thin centre line. No guessing, but very satisfying when it all lines up.

Twin Temptation is a 25×25 challenge that hides a pair of small, round summer fruits sharing a single stem — ripe off the tree and a favourite for pies and preserves. The two halves are near mirror images, so once one side starts to appear you can lean on the symmetry to finish the other. Work the long filled rows near the middle first, then let the narrow single-cell clues pin down the slender stems up top.
