How to Solve This Word Search

Most solvers slow down near the end of a word search, not the start. A little strategy up front prevents that:

This grid holds 16 hidden words — if you're down to the last one or two, it's almost always diagonal. Full technique breakdown in our guide to winning at word games.

About This Puzzle

World Capitals ranges from short entries like LIMA and OSLO up to NAIROBI, the longest word in the grid at seven letters, spanning six continents in sixteen words total. A few capitals repeat letters in interesting ways — the double O in MOSCOW, the double T in OTTAWA — so this one rewards checking the grid carefully rather than expecting every word to jump out at a glance. One more thing worth flagging: a few words here run backwards, a holdover from this puzzle's original build under an earlier standard — kept as-is rather than rebuilding the grid from scratch.
