🔠 This free printable word search prints on a single page. The answer key sits in a small strip at the bottom — fold it backward along the dotted line before you start, and you can solve honestly without ever seeing the solution. A real challenge — high-school level reasoning and vocabulary recommended.

Most solvers slow down near the end of a word search, not the start. A little strategy up front prevents that:
This grid holds 16 hidden words — if you're down to the last one or two, it's almost always diagonal. Full technique breakdown in our guide to winning at word games.
The Night Sky mixes objects you could point a telescope at — JUPITER, NEPTUNE, ORION — with the physics behind them, like GRAVITY, ORBIT, and SUPERNOVA, the longest word in the grid at nine letters. QUASAR and PULSAR share four of their six letters in the very same positions, so in a packed grid they can look almost interchangeable — check the front of the word carefully before circling either one. Worth knowing before you start: this puzzle allows a few backwards-running words, an older construction choice we've kept intentionally instead of rebuilding the grid.
