🕵 leftover letters unscramble to: TOP SECRET
How to Solve This Spy Word Search
This one has two stages. First find every word on the list; then gather the letters no word used and unscramble them to answer the super-clue. Here's the field manual:
Clear the long words first. SURVEILLANCE, INFILTRATE and TRADECRAFT carve long lines across the grid, and knocking them out early frees your eye to spot the shorter ones.
Mark as you go. Lightly cross out each grid letter as you use it. When the list is done, the letters still uncrossed are your nine secret ones — no guessing which are leftover.
Use the enumeration. The super-clue ends in (3, 6): the answer is two words, three letters then six. That structure, plus the clue, turns nine loose letters into a fair puzzle rather than a brutal one.
Words run across, down, and diagonally but never backwards, so at each starting letter, check right, down, and both diagonals. New to word searches? Our guide to winning at word games covers the fundamentals.
